How to read
Frets
Horizontal lines divide the fretboard. The numbers on the right identify each fret position.
Finger dots
Purple dots show where to press. The black number inside each dot tells you which finger to use.
Open strings
A circle above a string means play that string open without pressing a fret.
Muted strings
An × above a string means do not play that string.
The nut
The thicker top line appears on open-position chords and represents the guitar’s nut.
